Our 2020 Accomplishments
2020 may not have been a great year for many reasons, but for Johnny Slicks it was the year that we broke through the glass ceiling! To cap off last year, we developed over 20 new products, outgrew our workspace, doubled the size of both the team and our product lab, and expanded into a second workspace to meet the demand of becoming a seven-figure business. We also built out our gear shop with new shirt designs, flannels, and beanies.
Celebrating Our 2020 Product Line
As we mentioned, this past year we developed over 20 new Johnny Slicks products, including some of our favorites:
Johnny Slicks Black Label
With Johnny Slicks Black Label, we wanted to create a product that hits your scent palette most satisfyingly – a scent that is classic, powerful, and your go-to for every occasion. The Johnny Slicks Black Label product line consists of our Omega & Alpha signature variants, which come in oil-based pomades, beard oil, men’s shampoo and conditioner, and body wash. If you didn’t try our Black Label collection in 2020, make sure to add it to your list of must-tries for 2021.
Formula 49
Formula 49 is our signature, clay-based pomade. Made for a strong hold with a matte finish, Formula 49 provides natural shine and is durable enough to hold your hair in place all day long. Formula 49 is available in our most popular scents, including Original, Rugged, Cinnamon Roll, Paradise, Punkin’ Slicks, Maples Slicks, Apple Slicks, and during the holiday season: Merry Slickmas.
Beast Wash
Beast Wash is one of our personal 2020 favorites. It’s available in Original, Rugged, Paradise, Vanilla, and now Punkin’ Slicks, made to be used in tandem with our men’s shampoo and conditioner.
Johnny Slicks Gear
If you haven’t visited our Gear Store in a while, it’s time to make the trip. In 2020, we added our Slick Flannel Shirt as well as a wide variety of new shirt designs.
Looking Forward: 2021 and Beyond
As we look forward to this new year, we are excited with the opportunity you have given us to further expand our product line and engineer the best men’s, and women’s, grooming experience possible – yes, women can use our products, too (consider trying the paradise or cinnamon roll scents).
In 2021, we look forward to adding more gear to the gear shop, fine-tuning our already finely tuned formula for our existing products, and introducing new and exciting products, including new scent variations of our existing bestsellers.
