1. What the difference in oil based and clay based pomades?
Other than the bases of the pomades (Oil and Clay) it comes down to the style you are trying to achieve. Oil based provides a low-medium hold with a high shine while the Clay Based provides a strong hold with a natural matte finish.
2. When will _____ be back in stock?
We make new products every day. If an item you are interested in is out of stock, make sure you subscribe to our newsletter on this website and have push notifications turned on for our app. We send out notifications often when we restock a highly requested item. Subscribing is also a great way to receive exclusive discount codes!
3. What will help my thinning hair?
We recommend using our Beard Wash as shampoo 2-3 times a week and either Pomade (Oil or Clay) to style and moisturize. You can also take a supplement called Biotin daily to help as well.
4. What Happened To Slick Spray And Slick Scrub?
Those 2 products have been made into limited inventory products. Meaning we will only be restocking them when we have the materials to make them (no current timeframe). Some of the companies we source our raw materials from have closed down or slowed manufacturing due to COVID-19. This has caused us to pivot the sourcing of the organic raw materials we use to make our products. Make sure you are subscribed to our newsletter, texting service, or download our app (IOS and Android) to be notified when they come back!
5. Are you going to be making a beard balm?
We do not have any plans for a beard balm because our Oil Based Pomade works exactly the same as a balm.
6. Can you explain your shipping rates and shipping dates?
Shipping rates are determined by the carrier (USPS, Fedex, UPS). If you purchase 2 day shipping, that is the time frame the carrier delivers. We make each product by hand and ship twice a day. If your order does not go out the same day, it will go out the next business day.
7. Do you ship internationally?
Yes! If you've got an address, we can ship to it.
8. What are your business hours and days?
We work 9am-5pm EST Monday-Friday. We ship each of those days in the morning.
9. Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Because the items are consumable and we take sanitation very seriously, we do not do the traditional "exchange". If you are unhappy with the fragrance you chose, we can help you choose the proper one to fit you. Please email Sales@JohnnySlicks.com if you need more information regarding returns or exchanges.

13. What product did you use when you realized your hair was thinning?
Johnny made his own pomade. After he realized there wasn't anything on the market that could help him, he decided to help himself. The end result was our very own Oil Based Pomade. You can find it here.
