- Sponsor: The Johnny Slicks Truck Giveaway ("Giveaway") is sponsored by Johnny Slicks, located at 624 US HWY 17 S, Unit 1, Holly Ridge, North Carolina 28445 ("Sponsor").
- Eligibility: The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the United States, excluding residents of Hawaii and Alaska, who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry and have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) are not eligible to participate.
- Entry Period:The Giveaway begins at 12:00 AM EST on August 6, 2024 and ends at 11:59 PM EST on October 31, 2024 (the "Entry Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible. Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Giveaway.
- How to Enter: Participants may enter the Giveaway by visiting the provided link from the Sponsor, directing to the Giveaway online page, and entering contact information requested. ALL WEB REGISTRATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY 11:59 PM EST on 10/31/2024. Participants are responsible for all charges imposed by their Internet service/ provider, including any applicable taxes on such services, in connection with submission of registration.
Participants must fully complete and submit all non-optional data requested on the online entry form to be eligible. Incomplete entries are void. Online Participants to the Giveaway may be given the option to receive commercial emails and brochures from Sponsor, however, eligibility to participate in the Giveaway is not dependent upon Participant's consent to receive such emails or brochures. When you register you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Registration is free.
Limit: One entry per person, per household, per email address during the Promotion Period. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that participant's entries and that participant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected registrations and will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant or player. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Grand Prize Winner, may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor reserves the right to contact Participants and all other individuals whose email address is submitted as part of this Giveaway. - Prize One (1) : Winner will receive a 2024 Tacoma TRD Sport. The approximate retail value of the prize is $50,155.00. Any difference between the APV and actual prize value will not be awarded. The prize is non-transferable, and no substitution will be made except at the Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value. The Winner will be solely responsible for all federal, state, and local income taxes based on the value of the Truck as well as any applicable registration, license, title and insurance fees, and any expenses not listed herein related to receipt, possession, acceptance, and use of the Truck. The actual style, model, make color, design and features of the Truck may vary from any depictions of it in the promotion materials. The Sponsor will determine the style, model, make, color, design, and features including but not limited to exterior and interior. Prize vehicle may be used as a display vehicle for events regarding the Giveaway. Normal wear and tear of driving, including mileage as a display vehicle under 6,000 miles, will exist. Winner will be the first retail owner of the vehicle, and the vehicle will remain untitled until the Winner receives the prize. The Winner must show a valid driver's license and proof of insurance before the Truck will be awarded.
Winner will have the opportunity to be flown to Wilmington, North Carolina and transported to Johnny Slicks’ headquarters to pick up their rad new truck. This visit will include a meet and greet with Johnny and Nick, in which Winner will get to spend time with the Owners. After which, Winner is expected to drive the truck back to their home state/ city. *(See Addendum A for more information) - Winner Selection : The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will be conducted on Friday, November 1, 2024. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- Winner Notification : The potential winner will be notified by phone(call + text), email, and social media(if possible) within 24-48 hours or November 1, 2024 and are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these rules. Three attempts will be made to contact the potential winner. If the potential winner cannot be contacted, or fails to respond within 3 business days of the notification, the potential winner forfeits the prize. An alternate winner will be selected by random drawing from the remaining eligible entries.
- Verification of Winner :Potential Winner must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. Winner may be required to provide the Sponsor with documentation that shows they are eligible participants. This includes but is not limited to providing the Sponsor with one or more of the following at Sponsor's sole discretion: proof of driver's license, car insurance, age, and home address.
- General Prize Restrictions :Grand Prize may not be transferred or assigned in whole or in part. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute the prize in whole or in part with another prize of comparable or greater value if the intended prize is not available for any reason as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. The Winner will be responsible for all expenses (except those specified as being the Sponsor's responsibility under these Official Rules) relating to acceptance and use of the prize and for all applicable taxes (including but not limited to federal, state, local and/or income). Odds of winning the prize depend on the number of eligible Participants. In the event that a potential winner of the prize is disqualified for any reason, the prize will be awarded at the Sponsor's discretion. ENTRY CONDITIONS AND RELEASE: By entering, each participant agrees to: a) comply with and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are binding and final in all matters relating to the Giveaway; b) release and hold harmless the Sponsor and each of their respective parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, the prize suppliers and any other organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Giveaway, and all of their respective past and present officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liability, including but not limited to negligence and damages of any kind to persons and property; including but not limited to invasion of privacy (under appropriation, intrusion, public disclosure of private facts, false light in the public eye or other legal theory); defamation; slander; libel; violation of right of publicity; infringement of trademark, copyright or other intellectual property rights; property damage, or death or personal injury arising out of or relating to a participant's entry; participation in the Sweepstakes; acceptance or use or misuse of prize (including any travel or activity related thereto) and/or the broadcast, exploitation or use of entry; and c) indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liabilities (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or relating to an Participant's participation in the Giveaway and/or Participant's acceptance, use or misuse of prize. Grand Prize Winner is responsible for all taxes on value of prize including sales tax, federal/state income tax, and for all insurance and maintenance on the Truck.
- Publicity Except : Where prohibited by law, participation in the Giveaway constitutes the winner's consent to Sponsor's of the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, worldwide, in any media now known or hereafter discovered, at any time, your name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, hometown and state, and/or the amount of any prize and the Giveaway from which it was won and/or any quotation, statement, or image, for press or promotional purposes without compensation and without additional consent..
- General Conditions : Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Giveaway, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Release and Limitations of Liability : By participating in the Giveaway, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use of the prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Giveaway; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the Giveaway or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participant's participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use of the prize. Participant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties' liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Giveaway, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney's fees. Participant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages. If for any reason an Participant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, Participant's sole remedy is another entry in the Giveaway, provided that if it is not possible to award another entry due to discontinuance of the Giveaway, or any part of it, for any reason, Sponsor, at its discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for the prize offered herein. No more than the stated prize will be awarded.
- Disputes :Except where prohibited, Participant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in North Carolina. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Giveaway, but in no event attorneys' fees; and under no circumstances will Participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Participant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, participant's rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Giveaway, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of North Carolina, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of North Carolina or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than North Carolina.
- Privacy :Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor's privacy policy.
- Agreement to the Official Rules : By participating in the Sweepstakes, each participant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and the Administrators, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Giveaway. Being selected and winning the grand prize are contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. By participating in the Giveaway, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Official Rules and agree to abide by them.

Eligibility for Flight Option:
- Participants will only be offered the option of flying to the giveaway event if they reside further than 5 hours driving distance from the event location.
- The 5-hour driving distance will be calculated using a standard mapping service, such as Google Maps, from the participant's primary residence to the event location.

Flight Arrangements:
- Johnny Slicks will select the flight for the winner based on the availability of airlines and the winner's location.
- Johnny Slicks will cover the cost of the flight, including taxes and standard fees associated with the airfare.

Flight Value:
- The value of the flight will not be awarded or compensated in any form to participants who reside within the 5-hour driving distance and thus are not eligible for the flight option.
- Participants who live within the 5-hour driving distance are responsible for their own transportation to the event.

- This transportation policy is an addendum to the official rules of The Johnny Slicks Truck Giveaway and must be read in conjunction with those rules.
- Johnny Slicks reserves the right to make final decisions on eligibility and flight arrangements based on the terms outlined above.
- Any disputes or questions regarding this addendum will be resolved at the sole discretion of Johnny Slicks.
