What Makes Johnny Slicks Unique?

This is a question we get very often. What makes us different?

Ill break it down into the top 5 for you:

1. We don’t “make” products. We invent them.

As you may have seen, our products are very different. This is because we don't use common formulas to make our products. The average time it takes to invent a product's formula is about 8 months.

Before we try to make the product ,we research each ingredient we want and its purpose. Only after we have a rough formula drawn up, we start mixing and cooking. This is what takes the most time. Each failure is seen as another step towards success. The best example is Formula 49. It took 49 times to create and for good reason. It is the only fully organic clay based pomade in existence.

With enough research, you can find a recipe for tons of grooming products. We know this is possible but why settle for something that anyone can make?

2. We strictly source each raw material from only American companies.

Since we are 100% Marine Corps veteran owned and we understand what it means to be American (cue Eagle screaming the sweet sweet sound of freedom in the background) we decide to only purchase our materials from fellow Americans. These companies are found throughout the country and employ only other Americans as well.

We are the fastest growing organic grooming company in the country. A normal company would have already started outsourcing to China for price breaks and larger quantities of supplies. Since we are not a normal company, we refuse to do that.

We choose to support the greatest nation on Earth. Need I say more?

3. We don’t raise prices because of a word.

I guarantee you’ve seen or experienced this exact thing. A product will have the word “natural” or “organic” on it and its twice as expensive as the product that doesn’t say that. Why? This has always confused me and I can honestly say, it shouldn’t be a thing.

Never should a product price increase from a word. From a certain ingredient or how it's made? Yes. Product ingredients cost money and the more expensive the ingredient costs, the more expensive the product will be to purchase. If a product takes more time and effort to make, it will cost more to purchase. But from a word? Nope! Not us!

4. We are as transparent and honest as possible.

Follow us for 1 day and you’ll see this. We are constantly posting videos and photos showing the products being made. We create content on how to be successful if you want to start your own business. We write blog articles (like this) where we discuss the inside scoop of our business. If you message us on any platform, we respond as soon as we possibly can. If a company doesn’t do these things, what are they hiding? I’ve seen products that say “handmade” on the label, but they never show them being made. That’s a little weird isn’t it? We handmake everything and there isn’t anything I’m prouder of than that fact. Each product is started from scratch and what you see for sale on johnnyslicks.com is the final finished gourmet dish!

5. We understand YOU are the single most important person.

If you’ve ever come in contact with our customer service team here at Johnny Slicks, you know what we are all about…YOU! You are the single most important thing to us, and we want you to feel that way! Here’s something else that’s always confused me about businesses, why do businesses talk and treat their customers like numbers instead of family? This is a decision the business makes; it doesn’t matter the size of the company. You can have 30 customers a month or 300,000, it does not matter. Treating you like “just another customer” is a decision just like treating you like family is. A decision. So why wouldn’t a company choose to value you as a person AND as a customer. You don’t have to purchase anything from johnnyslicks.com to be part of our family. Support us and what we are doing, and you are family. If you aren’t part of the family already, thank you for reading this blog article and thank you for the support!

Welcome to the Slickster family!
